Was looking for a different place for supper. What a delightful surprise this place was. We ordered pulled pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich w/ baked beans and slaw for sides. And to really test the place we ordered a supreme pizza. The sandwiches were flavorful and tender. The sides which l usually push to the side because it's usually tasteless was right on point. The pizza, was great. You could actually taste every ingredient. The staff was fast and very personable. Best meal value lve spent in a long time. Side point; I watched our server(Keith) was his hands no less than 4 times. Very commendable .

Great place and definitely worth the drive from Columbia. Potato salad and beans were good but the smoke flavor on the smoked chicken was my favorite part. So glad I was able to come and enjoy it. Great service too!

Tried the pizza and baby back ribs, enjoyed both! The ribs tasted excellent and the pizza was full of flavor. It's a greek style pizza, and it's a little greasy but not too much. They put seasoning under the crust as well.

Hey, interesting place...be amused by the owner, the cook/waitstaff, and the fun style of surroundings. The most exceptional item that has been our pleasure to enjoy is the thin crust pizza. The cheese style was a very good choice for us; not too heavy, and not to pricey. And, the order was taken quickly, it was received more quickly than expected, and it came out correctly enhancing the enjoyment of the evening. Do try the pork steak and/or the brisket sandwich with the spicy baked beans and a local brew.

The place was very cozy and clean. Great salads and pizza. Now, let me tell u the best part, the employees washed their hands like every 5 minutes! I have NEVER seen that before and it is a huge deal to me. Seriously guys, Bravo, kudos, thank you! I will tell everyone about ur great little pizza/BBQ place in Ashland MO that actually takes the time to ensure clean food as well as a clean establishment!

Food was excellent. We had pizza, salad and wings. All were really good, and the homemade thin crust pizza was spot on. Friends had bbq ribs and pork steak, and both were really good as well. Worth the drive from Columbia.

Moved to Ashland a couple years ago and have ate at all of the local spots a few times now. I have to say, Blue Rooster is hands down my favorite. Their brisket sandwich is phenomenal. It has a large portion of meat, is juicy and full of flavor. No extra condiments are needed with this. You won't find a better brisket sandwich in the area! Their wings are also really good. I hardly ever write reviews but I wanted to give this place a shout out.
